The Panda is a recurring figure on DP. As of January 2013, Panda was played Pierce Hilbert. It is not known whether multiple people have assumed the Panda role. His identity is the topic for a lot of speculation and Dude Perfect has said that they will reveal his identity when they get as many or more subscribers as PewDiePie.

Panda has won 1 battle, the Roller Hockey game and shootout in the Quarantine Classic.

Appearance

The Panda is like the usual animal found in zoos, and Chinese forests, but DP's panda is life-sized and anthropomorphic.

In a January 2013 video featuring Johnny Manziel, Dude Perfect in a comment revealed the identity of the Panda to be Pierce Hilbert, Garrett's younger brother.

It is unknown if the Panda has been played by multiple people or who currently performs as him. Early on in its existence, some people rumored that former Dude Perfect member Sean Townsend played the Panda. However, this was refuted in a 2016 Reddit AMA, during which it was disclosed that Townsend had left the group to go to medical school and was now a qualified doctor.

Some also suggested that French student Dorian Marie may have played Panda as in 2014, he generated headlines when he walked around New York City in a panda costume when he was there for an internship. However this is easily refuted due to the fact that Marie was in New York City while Dude Perfect is based in Texas. Additionally, his Panda costume was not similar to Dude Perfect's and Dude Perfect's Panda has appeared in videos before 2014.

A widely accepted theory is that Tyler's father and Dude Perfect's business manager Jeff Toney plays Panda, based on the idea that he is involved in the day-to-day running of Dude Perfect and thus could play Panda when needed for videos, During Dude Perfect's new office tour video, fans noticed Toney's name on an office door at Dude Perfect's headquarters and claimed that was where the Panda costume and dressing room was located. However, as Dude Perfect's business manager, it would be obvious that Jeff would have an office at the headquarters and is therefore not complete evidence of him being Panda.

In a January 2019 announcement video for the channel that was later unlisted, Dude Perfect claimed that Panda's identity would be revealed if they ever #TieThePie, that is tying or exceeding PewDiePie in subscribers. At that time, PewDiePie had 102 million subscribers while Dude Perfect had 48.5 million. Since then PewDiePie has gained 9 million subscribers and has 111 million, while Dude Perfect has gained 9.8 million subscribers and has 58.3 million.
